It’s a weekday evening and I’m on the phone with Anna-Scarlet. She tells me about a radio show that she listened to earlier in the day, the Kid Craddick morning show. “They were talking about men who wear thongs,” she says then pauses. “Funky Brown Chick … all I kept thinking about was The Face*.”
Ooooh, a blast from the past. The Face. I remember him. He was unbelievably gorgeous, and he looked like a caramel-dipped Ken Doll. We dated years ago. Dated. Hmmm, now that I think about it, I don’t even know if you’d call it “dating”. He was already “dating” a woman that I absolutely abhorred. She was habitually rude to me for absolutely no reason at all. And, that really pissed me off. So, I fucked her boyfriend, The Face, a couple of times because he was gorgeous and because I didn’t give two shits about how it would make her feel. This is not behavior that I would condone and/or engage in at present. That was a long time ago. I was younger. I was a different person. But, back to the matter at hand … The Face wore a hot pink thong and shaved his pubic hair bald. Because I’d never dated anyone who’d worn a thong and/or shaved, I thought it was all a little bit odd. But, over the years, I’ve come across women and men who have said that it’s perfectly fine for a man to wear a thong. Actually, a lot of strippers wear thongs, and many people think guys in thongs are sexy. (I, however, am not one of those people.) Hmmm, what do you think? A man in a thong—“yummy, give me more” or “no thanks, I’ll pass”?

I came across this thread buy chance and read with intrest. I am a 36year old guy married to a beautiful woman for a year now. I have been wearing thongs for years now, and is all i will wear, until i get to a age where i now think enough. If a guy looks good in them fine if not then he should not wear them. I started wearing them by accident i you like. I was out buying underwear and saw this thong, so i tried it and found them very comfortable to wear. Thats all i have in my wardrobe, it’s a personal choice and whatever makes you happy, my wife loves them on me so i dont really worry what people think or say. I had gastric bypass about 3 years ago so no my body is not in peak physical shape. But i am smaller (in the waist) than i have been in my entire life. I just stumbled onto this website. It is interesting to me because I’ve been wearing thong bikinis for years. I live at an apartment and I wear the smallest thong bikini I could purchase, and “tailored it”. At first some people were indignant about seeing a guy in a thong. Well, I may be a minority, but I am a male, and I wear thongs. I am an active person, and when I run/jog, boxers are so damn uncomfortable. Briefs, also tend to wrinkle up and cause discomfort. I tried thongs about a year ago, and I found out that when I run, it is like having nothing at all. I have all the support where I need it (in the front), and none where I don’t (butt). They are great, and comfortable. I really don’t care if they look sexy or not, as long as they are comfortable. Boxers are for older inactive men, briefs are ok, but uncomfortable. Thongs rule, and like it or not, thongs are not a new invention, they are very ancient. Almost every ancient civilization has used them for their practicality, and comfort. Think of the aztecs, indians, african natives, they all wear thong-like garments.
Just to correct that dude that says “thongs were invented for women”. No, they were not invented for women. As i said before, thongs have been used by men for 1000s of years. An American fashion designer, brought the thong (as we know it) from Brazil, as a new form of underwear for women. It has been ever since that thongs have been labeled as “for women”. That is totally wrong, it is perfectly OK for men, to wear thongs and it is nothing new. It doesn’t mean, you’re gay, or anything like that. I just simply means, that you are secure enough with your masculinity to wear comfortable underwear, which some people associate with “women underwear”. I am a 36 year-old straight guy who wears either thongs or bikini underwear. Boxers are so uncomfortable. I switched to bikinis when I was in my early 20s and to thongs in my late 20s. My g/fs have never had a problem with them. I especially like thongs when I go to the gym or when I jog. As the guy above stated, they give support where I need it (in the front) and none where I don’t (in the back). Plus, my g/f says it makes my ass look great when we are running (I am up for anything that turns her on – and believe me it does). As for for my thong showing, if it does it does. I am confident in who I am and wear what is most suitable for me. The only drawback to thongs is in the winter – especially if you sit outside. The buttcheeks get cold pretty quick without the underwear layer. But since I live in the southern U.S., I pretty much wear thongs all the time, or when all are in the wash then I wear my bikini briefs.
As a straight man who’s been wearing men’s thongs for a couple of years, if a guy finds them comfortable and pleasant to wear, then what’s the problem? Comfort is the primary reason I wear them. They go under my clothes and I’m not going to wear them on the beach. So, other than my wife, I don’t care who knows I where thongs. Guys, if you haven’t tried wearing a thong, you should give them a try before you diss them. They are particular comfortable in the hot steamy climate of Florida, which is where I live. It’s like you wearing nothing at all, but at the same time you avoid the SBS (Sticky Balls Syndrome) that you get by going commando. I’m a 17 year old male, and I love wearing thongs or g-strings. G-strings are my favorite. But I’d NEVER let anyone else know. When I buy them, I do it at like 4 in the morning at Walmart.
