Hey im Russell 19 and just bought a pack of joe boxer thongs and am still getting use to them. I would love to go out in public but am embarassed. I also want to lay out and tan in them but theres a school nearby and my family might see me! And what type of underwear can give me good support in front like a thong but cover my butt in back?

im 43 years old male, pretty good shape due to my physical job.
started wearing tanga briefs in the late eighties because boxers would get sweaty and cling to the legs e.t.c. very annoying (and sore!) when you are climbing telegraph poles.
at the time tanga briefs were worn by women as a rule(the ones i had were from british home stores and were made for men). and when i would get changed in the locker room after work, some of the guys would make comments and wolf whistle e.t.c. i simply explained the reason for me wearing them and sure enough, pretty soon i was being asked where i bought them.
i know that with us guys sometimes when we see something we would likely want to have for ourselves but are unsure of how our other male friends would react we tend to scoff at it when they are around as a sort of defense, a reassurance to them that you would not be seen with one of those things(though secretly we would love to try!) we are our own worst enemies.
that said due to the discomfort of my then fashionable boxers, and dislike of yfronts, i tried the tangas. soon after on a visit to replace the worn out tangas i noticed that they started to sell mens thongs also. i bought one to try.
this was 1991.
since then i have worn them regularly , alternating with tangas.
what i am getting at is that when i started to wear tangas, they were not at the time regularly worn by men but are now totally accepted as male or female underwear. same goes for thongs . we are almost there, the more men that want to wear a thong and just go out and do it, the more quickly it will be accepted.

Hi everyone!
I'm a straight male, 38, married with two kids. I've worn thongs and g-strings since I was 17, and worn them 24/7 as underwear since about 25. I wear them to the beach as well, and in my pool at home. I'm shaved neck to toe, because it feels brilliant!
I progressed into them when I first seen them on women, becoming the fashion in the mid-eighties. I'd always loved wearing skimpy bikinis as a kid - the smaller the better. So when I saw my first one on the local beach, I had to have one too, and have worn them ever since.
I must admit I had some very apprehensive moments before showing myself sometimes, but now I wear them where ever I can. If it's not appropriate, them I wear a rio style bikini (only around 5% of the time).
My wife wears thongs and g-strings as underwear 100% of the time, but doesn't wear a thong at the beach anymore because of body image after the kids - that may change soon enough! She looks awesome in them I think!
Anyone thinking about it, go for it! They are the best! If they are uncomfortable, they're probably the wrong size or style for you. I also find the smaller the better usually, especially in the strap area.
Enjoy your thongs and g's, and get to the beach in them! The only way to be confident and accepted, is to do it!

Just found this thread, looking for thongs on the net. Hi everyone, if you're still here. :-)

I om just over 40. I have all kinds of thongs and g-strings at my drawer for long time now. But only recently I started wearing them on a regular basis. My rear is sensitive and I like the feeling of the string, I feel really sexy, like I am being gripped, or owned. I used to wear them only for special occasions, like when going out, when I wanted to feel sexy and vulnerable. My spouse really likes them. She says that I look sexy and exposed for her, and this turns us both on.
I have thongs from Victoria Secret, HOM, Unico, Go Underwear, Pulse and others. Each has its own feeling, its own way it touches my body, it is something I take with me through the day, often, makes me smile and “high”. When I go to restroom I look at them, touch the material, move it a little bit and go on. The favorite ones are those that are low-rise, with a thin and tight string. I also have some semi-sheer.

At first I felt embarrassed and guilty about my new habit but now I am proud of it. I think that I opened myself and I am totally true to myself. I wear pants and long trousers from thin material, I often wonder if people can see the underwear lines through; and it makes me feel exposed and excited.
Often I shave completely, front and rear, and so the cloth is closer to the sensitive skin which makes me feel even more sexy and tender. I didn't go to the beach with thongs, yet, but this is definitely something I would like to try.
I think both women and men look very sexy in thongs. Any one feeling good with it, go for it, feel good about yourself and about your body and about your sexuality.

I think men should wear thongs and panties. they’re alot more comfoterable than boxers. plus they give better support to the balls and dick. it feels even better when you pull back the extra skin of the dick.that feels really good. oh and i'm bisexual
