Detroit SUCKS for dating. It seems that all the quality women have packed up and moved to Atlanta, leaving us single guys with the hoodrats and golddiggers (yeah yeah yeah, i know it's become un-pc to call a woman a golddigger, but it's the truth)

I believe that you can find the right person anywhere you go in the world. I think we all know that deep down. You get usually what you deserve - most curses are self-imposed. What I mean, is that, even if you are in a city with "bitchy" self-righteous women, you can attract a moral, virtuous, hot woman with the right aura. That aura can only come from a non-bitter, spiritually grounded man. Needless to say, living in Denver - this is a woman's city. A total sausage fest, and the girls know it. They are truly chix with dix. But the only way to win, as a young, good-looking, intelligent guy - is to avoid most of them, but don't close your mind, and more importantly, your spirit, to the "real" woman who may come across your path. Like Al Pacino said, "Never hate your enemy - it clouds your judgement" In that sense, I say to men....get over it, stop fuckin whinin, screw as many dumb girls as you can, dump the blond haired self-righteous bitches, and never lose your own spirit.

Raleigh/ Durham/ Chapel Hill are always on that Forbes list. Why? 3 large universities and at least twice as many smaller colleges and universities= TONS of single people in college or right out of college. And then because of this a lot of tech companies are in the RTP area recruiting those that are just out of college to keep them here. So if you like dating dorks RDU is the place to be. I'm very lucky in that respect :) (oh and there's a ton of things to do around here, or for more extended dates it's a short drive either to the mountains or the beach...) I certainly had a ball when I was single for an extended period of time...

Darwin: I don't think there's anything wrong with being picky. :) And, by the way, do have any readers who are non-badass brown boys in London to stick up for themselves?

The dating scene in Bath possibly had potential but I might have been a tad bit too picky. At least there weren't any "badass" brown boys trying to act ghetto and hip like there is in London!

Well, since I am IN Denver, I guess you answered for me; however, with all the 'singles' out here there are a lot more stinky fish in this sea as well.

Plus, I'm not single anymore. Cameron and I made it official over the weekend. Well, not THAT official, but you know...

Momok: Believe it or not, I've *never* been to Australia or New Zealand. But, Auckland sounds cool.

Dear Lovey Heart: Ring as in ENGAGEMENT ring??? :)

The Genius: I can't remember where on my blog it is, but somebody posted something about women from Vancouver. I don't remember all the details, but it seemed like the guy was kind of bitter.

History Chic: "Quality" dates are hard to find. I think it only gets harder and harder the higher your standards. Oh, and, I *love* self-help books too.

MamaChristy: So, it's like that movie Officer and a Gentleman, huh?

Dragonslayer: War? That doesn't sound good. :(

Mitch: Three cheers for each of the readers from Vancouver!!!!

Wow, someone else from Vancouver posted.

I'm not sure I'd call the dating scene in Vancouver as bitter, challenging might be an appropriate description, for both genders. I have female friends who feel the same way, so I don't think it's gender specific.

As for the women, frankly, many of them are beautiful in this City... in some cases stunning.

It is no surprise that Vancouver has provided Playboy with a great number of playboy playmates over the years (on a per capita basis second only to LA).
