    Happy Halloween!!!!

I am going to be home as I am partied out from the last two weekends LOL. The dogs and I will be watching Law and Order CI/SVU:)

  2. AWE Says:

I will be sitting at home trying to keep the neighborhood kiddies from destroying my house.

  3. Nat Says:

Happy halloween to ya all! well, today I can go ahead and fly on my broom.. why miss the chance? kidding!! I’m not doing anything special actually.. I’m working until 10pm!! snif! snif!

  4. Howard Says:

I’m done with the going out and working stuff and I’m excited to hand out candy!! I LOVE doing that since I’m not ‘allowed’ to go trick-or-treating anymore.

Seeing the costumes is fun, but I’m mostly excited about setting up my boombox… oops, BOO Box somewhere in the yard and playing the Halloween mix I made so the walk up to the door is a bit more…. atmospheric? FUN!

That reminds me. I have to go get some duct tape to hide the CD player. :)

Going home, putting on some devil horns (C.L will wear a halo, as he’s such a darlin’ boyscout…) and handing out candy to the kids. First time ever doing this at my own house, as apartment living just was never conducive to having kiddies knock knock and yell “trick or treeeeeeeat!” Can’t WAIT. Got my big spider and spiderweb on the door, funky halloween candles all over, and ready to eat more candy than I hand out. Mmmmm! ;o)

    Have fun whatever you do!

  6. Momok Says:

    Happy Halloween..

For myself.. try nothing and then a whole lot of nothing :-)

    Never did anything for Halloween..

  7. Darwin Says:

Eating a whole load of chocolate and candy!

Then again I do that everyday not just on Halloween!

Oh, and I did another movie quotes post on my blog, thought I’d give you a heads up. Goodluck!

History Chic: After a weekend filled with parties, I’m kinda having a relatively laid back Halloween night tonight.

AWE: One of the drawbacks of city living … If you move to New York, you won’t be able to do that anymore. :)

Nat: But, most of the fun doesn’t start until after 10 anyway. :)

Howard: I wish I had a house. :( Gonna stop by your blog in a bit to check out the mix tape.

AmyD: I’m experiencing a bit of home envy. I miss the midwest.

    Momok: I *LOVE* Halloween.

Darwin: I *RAN* to your site the minute that I read this comment. I used to be a HUGE fan of scary movies. But, as I grew older, I realized that the people you see in the films are just like the freakshows that end on the news. At one point I thought, “Wow, these people kind of exist in the real world too.” Scared the hell out of me, and I haven’t been able to watch any REALLY scary movies since then. :) By the way, THANK YOU for the heads up. I had a TON of fun guessing the answers!!! I *love* film quizes. Maybe I’ll do one on here tomorrow. Or, ooh ooh ooh, maybe we can play a game like the Copolla game again. :)

  9. AmyD Says:

You miss the midwest, huh? Well, if it makes you feel any better, I sometimes read what you and Jill get to experience and enjoy as big-city New Yorkers and have a twinge of jealously, and feel sort of bummed I never tried that out in my life before I “settled down.” There are good and bad parts to any city, place, or situation, but I fully believe people like you and me do a pretty good job of focusing on the good (even when the bad sometimes kicks us in the ass)! I’m sure that feeling you are having will pass tomorrow, or this weekend, when you once again fall in love with your city after witnessing yet another wonder it bestows. :o)

Now get out and be tricky, ya hear? Ha!

  10. mel Says:

    Happy Halloween!

We are not going anything this year. I’ve been sick so I never bought pumpkins to carve, I never got any candy to hand out, I didn’t even decorate the house. I feel really bummed about it too. We are going to be one of the houses with the porch light off this year. Losers!! :(

  11. Darwin Says:

This quiz was on a friend’s blog and pretty much stumped me! Let me know what you think!

AmyD: It’s true. I do miss the midwest sometimes. I miss seeing the big blue sky. I miss sprawling green lawns. I miss my family & friends there. I miss the smell of spring, and that smell that comes right before it’s going to rain. And, God help me, I even miss the corn festivals. That said … the last time I went back, I felt all sad and nostalgic the first few days. And, by the third day, I thought: SOMEBODY PLEASE TAKE TO BACK TO NEW YORK CITY!!! :) … Hey, you just gave me an idea for a post. I’ll write it up tomorrow.

mel: Hope you feel better soon!!! :)

Darwin: LOVE IT, I started playing it and I got a little bit freaked out. I got a few of them right away (Nightmare on Elm Street, Children of the Corn, the Fly, and Silence of the Lambs.) Hey, this gives me another idea for a post. Okay, okay, you’re tomorrow and AmyD’s on Thursday.

  13. Raymond Says:

I dressed up as this and won SCARIEST in our Halloween costume contest at work.

  14. FUNKYBROWNCHICK Says:

Very cool costume!!! Congrats on the win! :)
