I slept for almost 12 hours last night. Work. Party & bullshit. Work. Party & bullshit. Repeat cycle. It finally took it’s toll on me yesterday. I went to bed around 7:30 or 8pm and I didn’t wake up until 7:15am. I feel soooooo much better, so well-rested. I even left my house earlier than usual so that I would get to work early. But, wouldn’t you know it, there was an “incident” on the train this morning and everyone was held at the station for, like, 25 minutes. (Hmmm … I might revisit yesterday’s scoring and give props to Chicago instead.)
At any rate, I made it to work. And, now that I’m so well-rested, I’m really looking forward to the girls night out / happy hour with Bro, Sid, Big D Girl, The E and the rest of the gang. Two hours. All you can drink. $15.00. Can’t wait! What are YOU looking forward to this weekend?

Whoo Hoo first!!! I am going to a happy hour tonight at a Jazz Club. I think it will be fun and just the right setting to bring in the weekend. I love the idea of $15 all you can drink though….I usually have to flirt with the bartender to get that LOL :)
Have fun tonight and have a GREAT weekend!!!!
I’m looking forward to dinner with my momma and Bubba. $15 for all you can drink for just two hours? Travel down to Raleigh and I can show you a few places where you can drink all night for $15… Granted they’re dives and I generally order only double jacks on the rocks… but still!
Saw 3 fri night. Greek dinner cooked by greek flatmate saturday night. Fireworks for bonfire night on sunday.
Goes by WAY too fast! If I were Queen I’d implement 3day weekends!
Tomorrow is city clean up day. Any and all junk/trash/old appliances accepted at the city yard. Cleaning out the garage. Man, my life is just way too exciting! Have a good weekend and drink a few for me. :)
I WAS looking forward to a date – but I just got cancelled on. Apparently ‘the pub with a few mates’ held greater appeal.
See! I told you Australian men suck!!
peace and quiet which i won’t get because i have friends – but who said i’m complaining? b-day party on friday, dinner and and some real theater with an old friend on saturday and god-knows-what on sunday, but knowing my people they’ll find me and insist i join in whatever they’re up to… :)
Dinner at a couple friend’s condo Friday night. Delicious. I love a good meal I didn’t have to cook! I did bring yummy wine and chocolate chip cookies, though.
Saturday, Math contest with my students. No, I’m not getting paid. I really hope they show up.
Sunday will be dinner with mom, dad, crazy aunt and my honey. Promising.
Well, Friday was fun. My girlfriends came over to my place to chit-chat only about men, we had some drinks and then watched a romantic comedy movie. Though, it’s what we always do! (we gotta improvise new destinations!) I’m really looking forward to tonight´s plans.. I might go out on a date with my cute-looking guy. Yesterday, I got a hint that he is about to make the move.. I hope so!!
Besides, I have to study for a grammar make up test.. I didn’t show up to a termtest and now I’m in trouble.. So Monday 8am… scary!! LOL
L8R! Any news on the Aussie guy?

Two students showed. They had fun. I got about an hour’s worth of grading done.
he made the move, I’m so happy!! :D, I’ll share details next time I promise.. isn’t it fun to get together only to talk about man, sex, ex-boyfriends and sex with ex-boyfriends? I love it!
Pegs: Two is better than none. You’re such a dedicated teacher that I’m 99.998% sure that you’re affecting many of your students lives in a positive way. :)
