Kellogs Crunchy Nut With Chocolate Curls. I swear it’s the best cereal ever invented in this planet.

And a mug of Cadbury’s hot chocolate (anyone notice a trend here? I can’t function without my sugar fix in the morning!). Your breakfast sounds a lot healthier than mine though!

I have the same thing every morning, except Sundays…

Chick-fil-A Chicken Bisquit and a Coke. Not very healthy but it is yummy :)

My breakfast always is a bowl of cereal (right now I’ve got a box of Smart Start with antioxidants! woo!) with fat free soymilk and a multi-vitamin. WOO! I’m so exciting.

This morning I had 4 french toast sticks. No syrup. Okay, damnit -I lied. I had 7. My daughter didn’t eat her 3. Which is just wrong on her part.

Weetabix- I wish I could find this in the US. I’m a fiber junkie.

And thanks to being in the tropics a plate of fresh fruit- mangoes, mangosteen, rambutan and star fruit.

weekdays, Trader Joe’s Toasted Oat Flakes w/raisins and rice milk; weekends, Sambazon acai blend w/bananas, mango and strawberries on granola OR whole wheat pancakes w/maple syrup, fruit (my dog loves ‘em). Yay, pancakes! :)

day 7 of the fast, btw.

Darwin: When I was in Europe, there was a cereal called Cruselli or something like that. It was like muselli + chocolate. I don’t think we have either of those (cruselli or muselli) over here.

History Chic: I miss Chick-Fil-A. We had those down south, but I haven’t seen any around lately.

El: Soy *IS* exciting!!! :)

Nerd Girl: I never have to worry about my nephews eating their food. Actually, most of the time, they eat more than I do. Yet, they’re still such little boys. Man, I miss both of those little guys.

Distar: Weetabix? Never heard of it. We should open an import / export business that specializes in really good cereals from abroad. ;)

Susan: I *LOVE* Trade Joe’s. We just our first one near Union Square last year. BTW, sounds like you have only 3 days left to go. (I promise I won’t post about food between now and then.

Bexxie: Soggy cereal is the WORST thing in the world. Well, that and soggy pizza.

cici: I know the throes of poverty all too well …

Eating Weetabix now.
Having recently moved to the US from London, one of the first things I did was hunt for good old Weetabix, so Distar, head down to your local World Market Store :)

This morning? Half a banana that didn’t go into my boy’s oatmeal and a Diet Coke. What? I have a killer sinus infection and I had a HUGE dinner at a fancy place last night. Swanky for any day, let alone a Tuesday.

Yogurt cup, Coffee bought tuesday night because I start work before Starbucks even opens, and a heaping spoon of determination.

Fage Greek Yoghurt (not sweet, closest thing resembling dairy from the homeland) with dried GojiBerries (anti-oxidants + natural sugars)
Coffee (x3)

Though Weetabix are great, don’t EVER make the mistake of trying them without a liquid… unless you plan to choke yourself before 8am (imagine putting a crumbled ‘beschuitje’ in your mouth).

Eww, it’s like crumbled beschuitje when it’s dry? Yuck. :-(
