It’s Raining Black Men!
Oh, what an absolutely delicious weekend! I’ll tell you all about it over the next few days. For now, the quickie recap goes like this: went for drinks with coworkers on Friday; attended Cuddle Party, went on a date, attended a birthday party, and partied the night away on Saturday; and, on Sunday, I rested. (Didn’t even watch my beloved Chicagoans play in the Super Bowl.) So, that brings us to Monday. Today is the 1st Monday in February. As many of you know, February is Black History Month in the US & Mondays are “manly” here at FUNKYBROWNCHICK.com. So, it only seems apropos that we use today’s post to savor over a few of deliciously brown men:
Okay, so, here we go. I love: (1) fellow New Yorker & brilliant filmmaker Spike Lee; (2) Forest Whitaker [distar, Firefly, Donna, Bro and Nics sent me to go see Last King of Scotland and I LOVED it ... more on that tomorrow]; (3 – 5) Daniel Sunjata, Blair Underwood, and Zinedine Zidane are so sexy that I included them in “Top 10 B-Boys” *and* this little list of hot brown men; (6) gorgeous Lenny Kravitz; (7) Will Smith, God love him, has resisted the urge to get Otoplasty for almost four decades; (8) Taye Diggs; (9) Kal Penn, so fucking sexy that I’m including him in a list of hot (mostly) black men even though he’s not even black … and, speaking of men who aren’t black … (10) Shhhh! If you don’t tell Justin Timberlake that he was once a little white kid from Memphis, I won’t either. It will just be our little secret, okay?
* Pssst! No, sweeties, I didn’t forget Barack Obama. I just think, you know, he’s waaaay too sexy to be included in a group. He deserves his own full post. Coming soon!

love this post – and great choices, all. though i’m sure you already know (and it’s all over YouTube) that since you didn’t watch the Super Bowl you missed The Sexy M*F* truly blow the halftime show AWAY!!!
