Folks. Pack it up, pack it in and let me begin. Hmm … with St. Paddy’s Day right around the corner (is it *really* almost mid-March????), here’s a little theme music to get you in the mood:
Hell yeah! I came to get down. I came to fucking get down!!! :) And, speaking of those white rappers getting down, I had lunch with the Fair Maiden yesterday. No, she’s not a white rapper. But, she and I did have lunch. And, I did indeed tell her about an idea for getting down. You see, here’s what I have in mind … So, there are a lot of single, sexy bloggers (and readers) in New York City, right? I think it would be great if a couple of us could get together for Happy Hour sometime. Nothing huge or fancy. Just a little happy hour. A “Single. Sexy. Blogging” happy hour. Maybe around 7pm on Friday, March 23. It’s at 6:00pm on May 4th. Email me if you’re an FBC reader (or a fellow blogger) and you didn’t get the email with all of the details.

Not a chance of getting together for happy hour anytime soon! I haven’t been living in the States for nearly two years now. I went back to my home country (that is Argentina BTW). I wish you’d say that when I went to visit friends last September. I used to live in PA, it’s like a train away! I’m very impressed though about these whole international number of readers.. you should be very proud! I used to have a funny blog: I wrote all the stuff that was going on w me so that I wouldn’t have to send an identical e-mail to all my acquaintances. Now I haven’t posted forever.. oh, well.. duty calls sometimes.

stefanie: I forgot that you live in Minneapolis. My friend “Kar-Lar” lives there. She just came to visit last weekend.
melo: Cool. More details coming soon. And, yes, folks that read me at Nerve can come, too … Actually, Nerve deserves like 50% of the credit for this idea. The last time that I spoke to my wonderful editor over there, he made mentioned of the BlogCon. I thought “heeey it would be fun to have something like that for the FBC.” Also, Polly gets some credit too, I attended an event like this last year; she organized it at The Magician. And, finally, I should probably give a little credit to whatever genius came up with the original concept for “happy hour” in the first place. Brilliant, I tell you. That person was BRILLIANT.

YAY!!! Details coming soon. I was hoping to do it this Friday, but I think it’s going to have to wait for a week or so. The internet-free situation in my home is wreaking greater havoc than you could imagine. I’m behind on a few projects, and I want to get that in order before I give attention to other matters (like, for example, the party).
