[FAIR WARNING: This post is not very exciting; it's just about my outfit.]
Okay, so, I have a date tonight. And … brace yourself … I already know *exactly* what I’m going to wear. I’ve picked out the specific shoes and dress for the evening. Hell, I’ve even picked out the underwear that I’m going to wear. I have no intention of letting Simon The Englishman see my little pink lacy thong, but I’m gonna wear it anyway. I like to wear sexy underwear on dates. When I’m sitting there at the dinner table, it’s like my own naughty little secret that no one else knows about. (But, I guess, you know, now that I’ve told all of you … It’s not really a “secret” anymore.) Anyway, so, yeah, back to the outfit. The date isn’t until pretty late this evening, but I already know what I’m going to wear.
Does that make me too “girlie”? :-(
Do guys “pre-pick” their underwear for dates, too?

I am a guy, and yes I do pre-pick my underwear on a date… it’s usually my most favourite most comfortable underwear, not necessarily the most sexy…
I totally do that, too. Even if I know there’s no chance the guy is going to see my underwear. Oh, and if it’s a guy I don’t think I’m particularly into, I deliberately wear non-sexy cotton ones. It’s as though I think I can send secret messages via my underwear. It’s ridiculous, I know.
I totally pre-pick my underwear! I don’t however, pre-pick socks (if I’m wearing boots that is). Underwear is sexy but socks are possibly the most unsexy thing in someone’s wardrobe…
GB: THANK YOU for weighing in!! I love it when my male readers speak up because it’s really nice to get a male perspective on these things. I’m not sure why, but most of the guys around here at the FBC tend to be a tad bit more shy in the comment section than the women are.

I prepick for important outings but not everyday wear.
Yeah, I’ve done that. I had a few “lucky” pairs of boxers that I’d pick from. If none were clean, I had to do a load of laundry before I left.
