Between this site and my blog at Nerve, I’m cranking out an average of 6 to 8 original posts per week. Typically, I’m comfortable with that rate of publishing. However, when I’m working on new blog and writing projects — such was the case this week — you may see more “hey, this is what I wrote on Nerve today, go check it out” posts here on FBC. I feel bad about that. Why? Well, because I know that a few of you have said that you can’t access Nerve while you’re in your fascist work environments. For now, there’s not much that I can do about that. But, I *can* say that I’m sorry. And, I can suggest that you find a new job in a company that isn’t in the dark ages. And, I can offer you this fabulous New Kids on the Block “Please Don’t Go Girl” video courtesy of YouTube:
But, back to Nerve — specifically, to those of you who can’t access it. If you’re familiar with feeds, you may want to subscribe to my site on Nerve. That way, you can get the posts delivered directly to your email inbox. Or, Bloglines. Or, whatever. And, speaking of feeds, make sure that you subscribe to mine here at the FBC if you haven’t already. Look to your right. Scroll down to “subscribe”. Click the link that works for you. If that doesn’t work, let me know. If this entire paragraph is Greek to you, google “what is RSS”.Other news … FUNKYBROWNCHICK.com may be unavailable at various times on Saturday and Sunday because I’m tweaking the site. Nothing cosmetic just yet. That will come later. For now, I’m just working on the behind-the-scenes, backend stuff. Error Boy let me know that the site has “timed out” for him more than once this week. So, I’m going to check into that as well. (If any of you have had problems accessing my site over the past few days, let me know.) As a head’s up … A total overhaul / redesign is forthcoming. I’m not sure how long it will take. If I do it myself, it will take a while because I’d have to fit the design work in between my other commitments. If I get help (i.e. beg someone whose full-time commitment is web design to lend their skills), the design will happen sooner rather than later. In any case, good things are coming soon.

Don’t get me wrong I love the NKOTB, as much as the next child of the ’80s, but Please Don’t Go Girl??? All I have to say is huh? I smell Ralph Machio in the air :).
Who doesn’t love NKTOB?!?!? :-) Actually, this video is kind of an inside joke between Bituin, Andy Milonakis’ sister and me. (A couple of nights ago, we belted out soulful renditions of “I’ll Be Loving You Forever” in a drunken stupor.)
But, technically, yes, you’re right. This post should also be labeled “Random Like Ralph Macchio” as well. I’ve made the adjustment. (For those of you who don’t know about the Ralph Macchio stuff, check out the FAQs
Mags just beat me to the punch. I, too, wondered, “Of all the You Tube segments she COULD post, why this one?”
I *loved* NKOTB. :)
I can access your nerves, but I dare not, who knows what evil will happen. :P
I love your writing style btw :D makes my monday good again.
Awww, thanks!!!!! :-)
Any, yes, you’re right. No one quite knows what evil awaits over at the Nerve site.
