* crazyleprechauns: Sometimes this city definitely drives me crazy. :)

* Darwin: Trust me, I get kind of tired of the silly rules too. And, yes, we're all nuts.

* Baba Doodlius: Heeey, I did this one for one of my fabulous readers. :-) I love it when people send me emails to suggest Manly Monday topics. And, for the record, I don't have a side gig with Yelp. :)

* sexpot donna: Thanks for the tip! And, yeah, we've all met "that guy".

* Dkzone: GREAT comment! :)

Somehow, the more of the quotes of these "guys" you make, the more...........non-guyly or perhaps....girly is more appropriate. It's like what happens when kids who were in the "he-man-woman-haters club" growup....what do they talk about besides how to get their bikini line waxed. Ah yes..we'll talk about how women our age are "undateable" ...Why is that? because they can see through your very special brand of bullshit?

1. women older than 30 see you coming and don't care. They'll let you think they buy your bullshit, but thats when the "cougar " strikes.
2. Women or "big girls" may actually buy your crap and thusly end up pissed off and jaded as the grow into their 20's, because it takes them a while to realize that your full of shit. Then they're all dissapointed and hence the quandry from the begining of Jason's post.
3. They just need to come to grips with the fact that they're trying "not" to date people their age, because of their own fear of being in an actual relationship of meaning.

no, actually, BD, I sent her the link. I thought she would get a kick out of it. Any girl who's dated in NY has met some form of that guy.

This bunch of guys is the best you could come up with for M.M.? Must be scraping the bottom of the barrel now. Who's it gonna be next week, a meth addict who doesn't shower and who shaves four-letter words into the hair on small, helpless animals? Bajeebers! You must have a side gig working for Yelp, is that it?

You know, your posts about NYC alternatively make me green with envy (the cool ones about how much fun you have) and (is there a colour for relief?) with relief for ones like these, because I don't have to deal with what are essentially rather silly sounding rules/generalisations. The way I see it EVERYONE has their own set of baggage and personality disorders, regardless of gender/age/race/ethnicity etc. We're all nuts:)

In some ways I'm quite glad I don't live in NYC. Just seems so many rules and protocols to dating. think it would drive me crazy.
