Folks, I am STRUGGLING here in the cornfields without internet!!!!!! I may get bumped off line, so bear with me if this post ends after this sentence. [Wipes brow.] Whoa, I honestly can’t believe it’s still working. Anyway, so, believe it or not, no one has discovered a way to wire cornfields — or deer antler, for that matter. So, for today, check me out over at Mandrake Society Radio. If you just want to hear the podcast, click this link.

Cornfields? I thought you were coming to Chicago! Did you take a wrong turn on I-55 and end up in Springfield?

Hey! If you are bored in “cornfield” land, give me a holler – we can go out and do something :-) I’d love to catch up and see you again!

@ John: Yep! Cornfields, baby. But, no, I didn’t get lost on I-55. My friends are in Chicago, but my family is in the middle of nowhere Illinois. Heartland of America, I tell you. THE HEARTLAND!!! :-) Love it.
@ Michelle: Oh, sweetie, I’m sooo sad I got your message when I was already back in NY. In any case, my family doesn’t live B-town anymore, so I probably couldn’t have met up anyway. I’ll shoot you an email the next time I’m in Illinois. (If there’s a reunion, I’ll be in town then.) And DEFINITELY call me if you’re ever in NYC!!!
