What Are Your New Year’s Resolutions?

I used to feel like a loser if I didn’t have a good time on New Year’s Eve. It’s the one night I actually felt “pressured” to have fun and kiss a man. So, to stop the madness, I started throwing New Year’s parties in my home. It was a sure thing. Surrounded by friends, I knew I’d have a good time and — because I’ve slept with most of my male friends — I’d usually get a kiss (if not more). When I moved to New York, my urban living space was too tiny to ring in “Auld Lang Syne” with a pack of drunken friends. Luckily, the city doesn’t disappoint; I won’t recap Jan 1, 2006 or 2007 happenings, but you can read one of the stories here if you’re interested. Tomorrow, I’ll post last night’s photos of my friends and me. If you had a good New Year’s, what did you? Anyone make any New Year’s resolutions?

Rang in the year on my end with the wife and kids dead sleep lol. Gotta love family life. As far as my resolutions my biggest one is to just be more peaceful and forgiving. I spent way too much time in 2007 holding grudges and being mad. It wears on you after a while. Just want peace now. Happy New Year :-)

Happy New Year, FBC!

I ended up at this fun Irish bar with some friends, boogying to the live band and – never again will I drink rum, vodka and champagne during the same night. Ugh. Haha. Fun, though!

I don’t generally make resolutions anymore…last year, I called 2007 ‘The Year Of Kristal,’ and I told myself that this would be the year of bettering myself. If I wasn’t performing, I would be finding ways TO perform, etc. And it was fantastic. My year exploded, in a good way! This year, more of the same. I’m calling it ‘The Year of Kristal Continues,’ and it’ll be about making things happen.

Why not, right?

My only resolution is to keep a positive attitude towards change :) I am usually pretty much on the positive side but change is scary, so I am going to approach it with as much gusto as necessary :)

hehe on the pressure to kiss. New Years Eve is the one night of the year I have no pressure because it is the one holiday I don’t go out on. That has been a tradition of mine for 10 years (mainly because in Dallas, it is the night of the crazies LOL)

On New Year’s Eve, I ate too much. Resolution: don’t eat so damn much. Bleh.

# Kristal: I might steal your “Year of Krystal” idea! :) Best wishes for TONS of success on stage this year.

# Tony: :)

# Felicia: I kissed a very beautiful man with amazingly soft skin this year.

# Baba Doodlius: Yeah, I need to stop eating as much this year, too. It’s all about getting in better shape and dragging my ass back to the gym on a regular basis. I love working out. But, when I fall of schedule, it’s always hard to get back on track.
