Dudes Who Say Funny Shit about Other Dudes

January 14th, 2008 Posted in Manly Mondays

NOTE: Whoa! Sorry for the extended absence last week. I’ll post details over on Nerve later today. Here on FUNKYBROWNCHICK.com, it’s Manly Monday. Today’s winner? Dudes who say funny shit about other dudes.

“With the dollar collapsing in value shouldn’t his name be more like 38 cents now..or something like that, or the artist formerly known as 50 cents now 37.9 cents..?”

Newsweek’s Ramin Setoodeh: How did you get into a fight with that lady on a plane?
Clay Aiken: I’m not going to talk about it.

RS: I was just curious because you’ve never talked about it.
CA: I did talk about it.

RS: What about the Kelly Ripa thing?
CA: I’m not going to discuss it.

RS: Did you think it was homophobic?
CA: I’m not going to discuss it.

RS: What do you want to talk about?
CA: I think we’re done.

[snip]

RS: I’ll change the subject. What do you do for fun?
CA: I watch the news. I read news magazines, but I’m reconsidering that now.

The 50 Vs Kanye war was the funniest saddest thing I had seen in the media for a long time (not counting the unholy trinity of Brit-Paris-LinLo).

Those are almost as bad/good as the “Who’s a bigger train wreck?” coverage of Britney vs. Amy Winehouse. :)

  3. Felicia Says:

oh my gosh both of those were very funny!!!

I think you would have to add the who got a DUI, jail time, and knocked up this week thing. I mean really Hollywood is just a train wreck that you can’t help but watch.

    The Brit-Paris-Lilo thing was funny……

  4. The Original B.R.O. Says:

Love, love, love those comments. Makes me giggle — which is so hard to do on a Monday…

Felicia: Darwin always makes me laugh.

The Original B.R.O.: Heeeeey! Glad to see you’re back on the blog. I mean, yeah, sure, I see you here in the city all the time, but I *still* expect you to check in with the blog!! ;)

That interview will Aiken is just strange. He’s acting the diva, which is appropriate considering tonight is the premiere of Idol. I shouldn’t watch, but I will, anyway…kinda like porn.
