Are You Male or Female?
Man gives birth? Yep. Soon. Read this personal story from Thomas Beatie — a “transgender, legally male, and legally married” man who is going to give birth to a baby girl in a couple months. As the pregnant man from Oregon explains in an essay in the Advocate, he and his wife Nancy are expecting a child. (Pssst! The couple went on Oprah, so you can check out pictures over there.
But, enough about that. Yesterday, after writing about Anderson Cooper and David Beckham, I totally arrived with towels today, ready to wipe the drool off my computer. But, whoa, NO women commented on the post. Because I’m a neurotic person who spends waaaay too much time overthinking stuff in life, it made me wonder: Where the Women At (WWA)? It would be interesting to know how many of y’all out there reading this are men, how many are women and how many are something else in between. Sooooo, I figure I can use the comments section to take a census. If you don’t mind, it’s head count time. :) Tell me: Are you male or female? Go.

And I would have made a comment on the last post, but I just read it two minutes ago, and then got lost trying to find the video, because the embedded one didn’t work (and neither did the one on Gawker). Female here; I didn’t comment because I’m in the minority here- I really could care less about Beckham and/or Cooper… they don’t churn my butter, know what I mean? So I read the post and watched the clip, and was like, “eh, that was nice”

am Man….. and am into sports…. but lean closer to F1 racing…. soccer and me…. well … that was something
one had to do if one is sent to visit their relatives who
reside in Barbados….. lots of running and kicking and a
very good way to meet the ladies of the isle….. so … I do
see the wonderfulness of following the adventures of
the Beck… et al….
and … to me… that would be a wonderland for the ladies who may not follow the game but will follow
what’s in the shorts…..

i’m not a conservative person but i don’t approve a “men” being pregnant. with all the hormones he took, i’m afraid for the genetics of the child. and after the birth, i’m concearned with the mental health. the father is the mother?

I’m a man. Not gay, but can see that both Cooper and Beckham are hot. Didn’t really comment because it’s kind of boring to spend so much time talking about how attractive highly-paid celebrities are, since every other media outlet spends so much time doing the same thing. What I really enjoy are your own personal stories and adventures at events like SXSW.
