NYC’s Julia Allison in New York Times
March 30th, 2008 ·
I just checked out today’s NY Times and I noticed a fellow New York sex/dating/relationships writer & blogger, Julia Allison, is featured in the city section. Read it here. It’s a great article about New York life. More on that later. (Here it is: Julia Allison in the New York Times.) I’m heading out to meet up with V. for movie & drinks. Have a happy Sunday my lovelies!

Hi, I'm

I found this one part of the article especially interesting:
“Ms. Allison knows the adventures and misadventures of Carrie & Company by heart, and she uses them as something of a road map for her own life.”
That’s a trend that seems to be on the upswing. As a result, more and more women are left wondering why their perpetual dating habits don’t bait anything serious.
a wise person once said….” free your mind…. and your ass will follow.” the way we as a people have been doing the dirty ,male and female alike…. it’s a wonder
that we are still left on the planet…. whatever happen to connecting…. being
one the same wave… just a little caring…. well, on one side of the street… there
lived the ” if you cant be with the one you love…. then love the one you’re with..”
crew meeting the ” lovin’ every minute” gang and BAM…… true hearts were
breaking all over the place…. leaving carcasses all over the place…. the true
domino paradox ….. and it’s running on empty at a city near you…. dating today
is kinda like haulin’ nitro….. speed bumps you dont need…. and as humans…we
speed bump … for days…. when it’s grand, we connect….. and when it’s not
we tend to hunt in packs…. in bars…. wine parlors…. clubs…. wherever we
can get our moves down right….. some make it to rehab….. the rest get
married….. and the tweens just kick out the jams….
maybe …. for once…. can we all be real…. for a heartbeat…. give it a shot…
and if it does’nt work….. there’s always Vegas……
lamesabassman…….. ya got to know when to hold them… know when to ….
@ AkA “Paul”: Yeah, honestly, I was a little confused by that part. I find it kind of hard to believe that anyone TRULY uses that show as a veritable “road map” for their life. But, to each their own. :)
