Big, Drippy Kisses
Hey folks. Just a quick message to say thanks for the suggestions and supportive comments yesterday. Much appreciated. I was in a pissy mood, so I wrote about it here on funkybrownchick and over on Nerve. (Pssst! Here’s the Nerve link in case you missed, Single. Dating. Life.) Hmmm … I feel kind of inspired. Y’all are kind enough to come visit my site and say nice stuff. So, I wanna give something back. I’ve decided to do my first reader contest / giveaway. The prize is a ticket to a sexy event taking place in Atlanta next Saturday, April 12th, for women. Hopefully at least one among you is a chick in Atlanta and/or someone who has a female friend that lives there??? If so, keep a space on your dance card free next Saturday evening free. Details coming next week.

FBC — What about doing the PhD at night, and sub-teaching during the day? Your teaching job would end @ 3 p.m. Or what about something dealing with international travels, international politics?
I can imagine that you are in dire straits — financially. Dig out the business cards of people you ‘promised’ to call — and really call them.
You have soooo many qualifications. Very impressive. You won’t be unemployed much longer.

@ lamesabassman: Yeah, I’m looking forward to Atlanta. :)
@ Diane: THANK YOU for the encouragement. And, you’re 100% right.
