@ Aka “Paul”: Yeah, I probably ask and disclose more than more people are used to. But, hell, the guy already read my blog. He already had a good start on getting “beneath the initial projection of perfection” as you say. :)

@ Darwin: Yes, Mr. Charming is indeed interesting. Today, he’s going back to your side of the pond. He was only in town for business; he doesn’t actually relocate here until September. (I got the deets from the host.)

@ Larry: Does he support Obama or Hilary? :) I think he prefers this lady. ;)

@ Peggy b.: Helaas, this one lives in your neck of the woods. We shared an interesting time filled with great conversation. Now, it’s time to send him back to the low lands. By the way, I soooo notice that I’m drawn to men who aren’t originally from New York. Sometimes, I REALLY miss my down home Midwestern boys. And, of course, I have a soft spot for the dudes from the UK and Europe. Apparently, so do you! ;)

There was never a question in my mind that there was more to FBC- the person than we see on FBC-the blog. It’s clear that you keep things from us – why do you think I keep coming back? ;)

I am glad you were a good enough friend to keep an eye on her and made sure she got home safe. I have made that mistake before and needed looking after as I am sure most of us had. I hope you and Mr. Charming have fun days ahead of you. Those early days of meeting someone new are both fun and exciting but you have to ask yourself one very important question, does he support Obama or Hilary? LOL

That was a very cool post:) Too bad about Apple but it’s really difficult to have a decent night out when you have to play the babysitter. Hopefully she realises that although it’s okay as a one-off, if it becomes a regular performance she’s not going to have many people willing to go out with her.

Interesting that you talked all this out on a secondish encounter. My biggest problem has been with girls that never want to talk about the past, and I get turned off by the whole “mysterious stranger” persona.

I’m sure it’ll be interesting to get beneath the initial projection of perfection.
