Scoop's cool too, but I think <a target="_blank" href="http://funkybrownchick.com/audio-video/" rel="nofollow">the girls' night out with Shanda and the rest of us</a> scared him a little bit. ;) If you're looking for blogs by folks with kids, you might like single dad bloggers like <a target="_blank" href="http://www.treyellis.com/" rel="nofollow">Trey Ellis</a> and <a target="_blank" href="http://fatherdad.com/" rel="nofollow">African American Dad</a> -- the latter whose tagline is <i>one good black father among many</i>. Having said all of that .... One of the things I love about blogs is this: they allow me to peek into the lives of people who may have very little in common with me. Yeah, sure, I read the blogs and follow the Twitter of other black women like friends <a target="_blank" href="http://www.abiolaabrams.com/" rel="nofollow">Abiola</a> and <a target="_blank" href="http://negroshire.blogspot.com/" rel="nofollow">Peggy B.</a> as well as other women I've recently met in NYC (like <a target="_blank" href="http://twitter.com/LiquidSunshine" rel="nofollow">Charlie</a>) and folks I'd love to meet (like <a target="_blank" href="http://afrobella.com/" rel="nofollow">Afrobella</a> and too many others to name). Still, I also read blogs by the <a target="_blank" href="http://angryaussie.wordpress.com/" rel="nofollow">Angry Aussie<a/>), a <a target="_blank" href="http://mamachristy.blogspot.com/" rel="nofollow">mom in Texas</a> and a guy named <a target="_blank" href="http://ontherantagain.blogspot.com/" rel="nofollow">Mitch in Canada</a>. <a target="_blank" href="http://www.angryasianman.com/angry.html" rel="nofollow">Angry Asian Man</a> is one of my favorite blogs out there, and I'm neither Asian nor a man. :) Damn, I need to do a link-loving "Best of the Blogs" post sometime soon!!
