Tim, I'm sorry but this ABWS as you call it is bullshit. It's really an attempt to make it sound like a serious illness that effects only Black women AND it's an attempt to destroy a Black woman's right to human emotions. In other words, you're dehumanizing them for your benefit and it doesn't matter that your main male character ends up with a "sista". You've done irreparable damage almost in the same vein as racist White men of our (Black men and women's) yesteryears.

And I'm going to take issues with these Black women characters that you took it upon yourself to write. They are shallow, 1-dimensional and have no real motivation or no back story to what's grinding their gears. I realize it's hard to write a character from a differing perspective because I myself am a novice writer, but you might try harder next time by actually talking to these ABW and find out why they're angry. Meanwhile your main male character is nothing more than a self-insert/Gary Stu--he's sickeningly perfect and any conflict is "woe is me!".

A wise Black man who taught me Geometry once told me that "stereotypes may be true, but they are often shallow truths." So you might have certain experiences that ring true to you--but still you need to look beyond and question your world of stereotypes.

Yeah, I understand somewhat how you feel...maybe?
This was the kind of feeling I got for the guys complaining about Aussie Women as an Aussie Woman myself (^_^)`; though, I was annoyed about how other pple were spoken about. My gosh, I was really mean, wasn't I?!?

This was my mean blog response:

<a href="http://aussiemendroolworthy.blogspot.com/2010/05/aussie-men-droolworthy.html" rel="nofollow">http://aussiemendroolworthy.blogspot.com/2010/05/aussie-men-droolworthy.html</a>

But, yeah, when I think about it, Guys who say stuff like that are somewhat insecure about themselves, yeah?!
Take the ones on that thread for example ->Otherwise, would not be looking up the internet to find a girlfriend or be putting down Women of Particular Races in order to try and make themselves sound better... :O

I'm living with my mate from Zimbabwe and never have had an argument with her :)
Steretyping is lmao.

No Black woman with good sense likes Tim's film. His entire approach is one of disgust and misogyny when it comes to Black women. He runs a website that is full of hate filled toxic Black men, that make postings so venomous its unbelievable... the likes of which I have never seen and I've been on the web since the Compuserve days in the early 1990s!

Sadly, there seems to be a backlash against Black women all over this country by Black men. Nothing we as a group is good enough. Nothing we say is right. The blame for every ill in the Black community (including the lack of committed relationships and high number of single parent homes), is laid at the feet of Black women by Tim and his crew. Since no child I ever heard of got here without the involvement of both a male and female, the rantings on that site by Tim and his backup team against Black women make no sense. Not one of those fellas stuck in a "baby daddy" situation wants to own up to his role in the nonsense. Instead, Black women "should keep their legs closed." WTF year is this, 1750?

Your review was kind. Tim should be happy it was you posting the review and not me. His eyes would have burst into flames from the firey words I would have used to describe that trash.

"It takes 2 people to make AND BRAKE a relationship."

No it doesnt, one is good enough, believe that pinky.

You dont have to be saint to get wronged by a devil, and just like black women were not born angry i am pretty sure black men were not born hating women, it usually takes about two to three of the wrong kind from the opposite sex to make you think that.

And it takes a real honest person to know that it's all BS, and to take them one at a time.

Funny how every one has it all figured out before they have seen the movie.

@Jose - Grow UP.

At the other women. lol. I love how your open-minded about dating, but not open-minded about watching the movie.

watch the movie, then come back and speak about it. I feel that it is unfortunate that the only clip you ever see of the movie is him with the white chick in the car. But that really has nothing to do with the crux of the movie at all.
