Holy shit. How’d that happen? I just found out that my blog, FUNKYBROWNCHICK.com, made Alltop’s Best of the Best! If you’re not familiar with it, Alltop is like an “online magazine rack.” If you’re a visual person who “gets” things when you “see” it, look at this picture: http://alltop.com/about/nuggets.php. If you prefer words, here’s a blog post where that sexy & fine Japanese American man (Guy Kawasaki) talks about it. So, basically, Alltop’s kinda sorta highlights what the “Who’s Who” says about “what you need to know.”
I’m crazy flattered to be included in the company of sites like Kanye West‘s blog, AOL Black Voices, Pam’s House Blend, What About Our Daughters, Jack & Jill Politics, Afrobella, Bossip, and Young, Black and Fabulous. I kind of feel like the oddball dorky kid standing in the corner at the cool kids’ party wondering, “How the fuck did I get invited???” So, when they forwarded me a bunch of badges I could use on my site, I picked the one below … for obvious reasons.
