Overworked & Underboinked

I hate letting people down. I was supposed to finish a proposal thing before I left for DC last week. Didn’t happen. Said I’d have it before Tuesday. Still, didn’t happen. It’s not that I don’t want to do it or that I’m slacking or whatever. I’ve honestly been running around like a fucking crazy lady trying to get a bunch of stuff done. Writing stuff and personal stuff (laundry, paying bills, cleaning my messy apartment, etc). I simply MUST turn that thing in as soon as I can. I’ll be able to tell you the details about it soon enough. For now, I’ve just gotta get the damn thing done. Anybody else out there got something weighing them down that they simply MUST get off of their plate sooner rather than later?

many o’ night I have found myself taking inventory of all the things I had planned to get done that day and found myself falling hopelessly short.
I think it is just a symptom of modern life.
I am always trying to figure out a way to slow down, but at the same time I love all the things I do and don’t want to give any of them up!
Unfortunately,this means that I am not able to give my full attention to anything (just ask my girlfriend) and in return I am never able to make my performance meet my expectations.
On the bright side, I am so busy that I don’t even think about sex. Instead I fantasize about sleep, amazing, mind-blowing, please don’t ever let this stop…..sleep….PATHETIC!!!!

Lawd I feel the same way. One foot out of the old job, one foot in to the new one, and a well-paying (but aggravating and time-consuming) freelance gig unfolding. Bleh.
Plus, I’m adjusting to living with the bf and its not going so well. Feels like seeing each other brushing our teeth, shaving, peeing, etc. has sucked all of the passion out. Sex? Who has time? I don’t even have the desire.
But … I keep thinking. This too shall pass. And I bought some bad ass pumps with some of the fruits of my labors over the weekend.

2. get car registered
3. get new battery for car
4. get car inspected
5. fix kitchen faucet
6. fix kitchen light
7. rewire computer
8. switch over summer to winter clothes
9. clean garage
10. but yard stuff in newly cleaned garage….thereby making junky again
11. a lil 69………….its been a minute
12. clean car
13. find birthday present for mom

Overworked – I definitely feel you on this one. Watching your shop go bankrupt is…a trying experience. Emotionally and practically. As is getting used to the new bosses.
And as for that second one, I too have had…less fun these past few months than I would have liked.
Hang in there. Happier days will come!

just unplug 4 a moment…… if you are going in 4 different directions will you
ever reach your destination….. nope…. unplug and ….. focus ….. then and only
then will you be able move the trees out of the way as to view the forrest .. better

but,on a serious note….. I stay busy…. ’cause am tired of being alone…. and if I stay busy….. well … that leaves little time to think….. yeah, when not in the studio
I date… but am feeling that am going in circles….. am open and have no hopes..
just wish to have a few good times and maybe get lucky enough find that one lady that will get me thru the night …. forever….
until then…… I ride with the wind and shed tears in it’s wake
