Okay, so, several people have asked me about the 2009 NYC Sex Bloggers Calendar launch party. The questions generally sound like: “What’s going to happen there?” Truth be told, we’re going to dip everyone in honey, lock the doors, chain people up so they can’t leave and THEN we’ll bring out the 12-inch sex toys. Muhahahha!!!! ;)
Seriously, the party isn’t going to be anything like that. It’s just a bunch of people coming together for a good cause. It’s free. So, you can’t drop by and check it out if you’d like. White Rabbit is actually a really cool, laid back bar. They’ve got good music, great (inexpensive!) drinks and a kick ass mini-food menu. So, yeah, it will be like any other party. Yes, we’ll have Burlesque dancers. Yes some of the raffle items and gift bag schwag will include sex toys. But, no, we’re not going to let anyone publicly USE toys on anyone during the party. No sex. No nudity. No illegal activities. “Seriously. Don’t be afraid. Trust us; we’re sex bloggers.” (It makes me giggle that I actually wrote that.)
