in honor of Mr.D .... am not gonna eat the bird on Thanksgiving.... am going home to see the tribe and as always was ask to cook a little somethin,somethin...
and it's gonna be Ribs..... two different styles..... on a platter... surrounded by
a few feathers ... an homage to a few turkeys who wont make it to their home...
and the way my tribe is...... they may not ever let me cook again..... and I dont
mind a bit..... 'cause that's a grip of mouths to feed.... it's like they come out of the woodwork around this time of year and I'd rather film them than feed them...
may all find what all are looking for at this time of year and may all that bothers
you .... just disappears

lamesabassman...... look out Bklyn.... Godzilla's coming.....

no doubt...... Bklyn.NYC. be's that way some time... I've gone to the OG mall...
Kings Plaza.... roam if you want to..... and run into 40 people that either knew
me Mom and Dad..... or have known me directly...... at times.... hellacool....
and when not.... well.... at those moments...... would rather in Queens.... at a
certain BBQ... in Queens Village ... well .... you knew when you were close...
for the aroma would draw you as.. mos def... a moth to a flame..... you left
your diet in the car..... trust me ... it was killercool..... and I do know Ribs....
Chi-town and da K.C. still rule my palate.. and even there I would meet folks
who knew my Parents or me as a kid... and.... that's a real hoot...

each moment we blink .... our world gets smaller... ya think....
be kind .. and dont unwind on another
cause your day wasn't kind
and by doing so ... just let go
isn't losing... but helping
us all to try to understand
the mankind in us all
while each moment we blink
we do .... get small......

lamesabassman....... just a random thought... on a few M&M's....

I was born in an extremely small town. I was raised in the huge city that is DC. In DC it seems everyone knows everyone knows everyone, much like I imagine NYC being. No matter how big the city or the universe, common interests, trials and pitfalls remind us that it's actually a very small world after all.
