Introducing: Man Pageant Winner “Nick”

Today’s post is sexy & short because I’ve got other shit on my mind. Boy drama. Might share details later today. Or, tomorrow. Or, maybe, never. We’ll see how I feel about everything in a bit. Anyway, in the meantime, the new Manly Monday pick is a guy named Nick. If you read this post, you know I judged Jen Dziura’s First Annual Man Pageant over the weekend. Additional photos — including a couple of him sexily clad in underwear — are posted on my Flickr, Jen’s Flickr, Dacia’s Flickr and elsewhere online.

Um, yes, OF COURSE I noticed he’s cuddling a brown girl in one of his photos!!! Hot, right??!?! (Psssst, if you’re new on Funky Brown Chick today, read this, this, this and this.) Anyway. The best part of the man pageant? All the guys REALLY got into it. They serenaded us, tried to win our votes with flowers and beamed 100 watts brighter as we told them what we loved about their handsome faces, hard bodies and adorable talent competition segments for boxing, singing, poetry and comedy. I asked one of the guys, Michael, “So, is this your first time participating in a male beauty pageant?” He smiled, blushed and was like, “Um, yeah. I can pretty safely say this is the first time for all the guys here.” It was too cute! Job well done, boys.

Looks like half a *ag to me there. Don’t be too surprised when he announces his affiliation with the rainbow team.

Art J: Tsk, tsk, tsk. :) Whether or not he’s on the rainbow team is irrelevant; this is a rainbow friendly blog and I want all of my readers to be gay — either “happily” in emotion or “physically” in action. ;)

No offense meant to anybody, I fully support gay rights.
(Particularly lesbians, Ha! Just kidding but had to include that)

Wasn’t meant in “that” way. Just an observation, hopefully nobody took too much offense. I fully support gay people and all there endeavors for equality. (Especially lesbians, there hot, I mean if I were a woman I’d be a lesbian too) Just kidding but had to include that.

Doesn’t it look like their eyes are closed in that picture, I think they’re both imagining they are with “men”.

Just kidding, “F-Em,if they can’t take a joke”

You wanna know something Art J? The the real gays that are out there in our western societies aren’t the guys that look like Nick.
Its the roughneck, thuggish bad boy types that everyone mistakenly believes are to “manly” to be gay.
Tripping over yourself with multiple posts doesn’t hide the fact of your insecurity.
In the Caribbean where I live, homosexuality is not accepted as a social norm (Gays are threatened with death in Jamaica daily, most times they do act out acts of violence).
The eventual winners of male “beauty pageants” always seem to attract comments about their apparent sexual orientation, seems no one cares if Miss Universe or Miss World is on the rainbow team but in all fairness, beauty is what it is regardless of the background of the contestants.
In the offices, schools, suburbs, streets, regular people slog through the barbwires of accusations of one thing after another.

Bravo…. Mr. Anthony B. having been all thru the Caribbean…. coming out of the
circle in that part of the world is the kiss of death…. period….

to be one with one’s self can be … at times… dicey … one must look both ways
before talking… the ” barbwires of accusations” have been the ammo for anyone
with nothing to say while not understanding the damage done when it’s said…

to win a pageant or a contest takes a lot of guts…. I would rather walk thru Hell
in gasoline drawers than even try to compete…. and the winners are to be lauded
and not thought of as anything but people who have made it on their own….
and not of as ” gay” as they seem to look.. to someone else view… guess just
how they think of you….
” beauty is what it is regardless of the background of the contestants…”
that is the most wonderful thought ever….. and I wish everyone felt that way…
and just maybe…. they do…. they’re just afraid to cop to it…..

lamesabassman…… Bravo…..

TonyB-

Not gay, not insecure. Have tested myself for that inadvertently ( I produce porn, was sent some straight and gay porn mixed on same dvd from a prospective director-no menu or warning, watched it-no attraction. Not gay, not insecure dude)

Was joking and if that isn’t ok with you or anyone else, Oh Well!! The BEA-Utiful aspect of living in America and not the Carribean (FREEDOM of SPEECH) You don’t have to like it, so lump it if you have a problem with it. I unlike you people tell MY friends “You don’t have to do my thing, to be my friend” In other words they and I can be ourselves without someone trying to make us over into what they would have us to be, can you deal with that. Accepting people, not just the people YOU like as they are?

Lameass(sp)-

Read my response to Tony B.

I don’t recall ever casting a negative connotation on gay people, I merely commented that in my opinion I think he is gay. May not be, don’t care if he is or isn’t. This isn’t about whether or not Nick is gay, this is about you people trying to silence anyone who doesn’t view things as you do. If you can’t handle dissenting views and commentary you need to go back to the Carribean or anywhere you think it doesn’t exist.

comments are a window to the soul….. you make them…. to do that … you thought about it…. and if you are the type to speak before you think… that, at times, could be an issue….. just how deep is your deep…. and you still walk the earth….. dont you ever think about the ripples that are caused thru your verbal
vision…do you own any mirrors.. to tell someone that they dont need to be where
they be because of their thoughts….. well …. one day… when they come for us..
it will only be a matter of time… when they come for you…. comments are a window to the soul….. just how deep … is your deep…. take your time.. I’ll wait..

lamesabassman…… ” come together … right now…. over me….”
