gee…… have’nt heard that chestnut in a looooooong time…… to get the ” real ”
benefit of that most very interesting word….. conjure up an early SNL bit with
Chevy Chase and the late, great Richard Pryor on you tube…. killer stuff….

but, I believe it’s earlier use was for the ” good ole boys ” who frequent the bars
on the dark side of town back in the day….. to get the attention of the local
ladies of the evening, they would ” honk” their car horns to find out how much
for how long….

lamesabassman…… think of what they would have been called if the good ole boys drove those old VW bugs …… ” beep-beep”

I was sick too. I think everybody I know is.

Gosh, “honky” is like my favorite word ever. I rememeber cracking up the first time I heard it on A Very Special Episode of some forgettable sitcom about orphans.

I’m taking it back.

That’s a good word: “Honky”. You don’t hear it enough in everyday conversation. So here goes: Honky, honky, honky, honky! I feel much better now.

What? It’s derogatory? Well doh. Guess I can’t use it anymore.
