Sexiest Logo Contest, $150 Prize!
Ready. Set. Sexy. As of yesterday afternoon, 17 talented designers from Germany, Brazil, the US and other countries were competing in the Funky Brown Chick logo competition. Fun! Lots of great concepts representing variation on the same theme: Funky. Brown. Chick. If you’ve been a visitor on Funky Brown Chick since the early days, you know I’ve changed the site’s look countless times. I think the first time I ever wrapped FBCs readers in the decision-making process was almost two years ago when I switched up some of the header images. Remember, I also let you guys name my laptop. Who loves ya, baby? ;) Time for something different: a new logo. The FBC logo competition ends on Wednesday, March 4th, and I want your feedback.

the pink one where the logo lady is sitting on the beach and it’s all pink with the
contrasting other color is really cool…. number 47, I believe it is……
the design is kinda timeless and you would get a lot of mileage from it…..
as a musician we tend to look for cool stuff for CD art work…. and # 47 is way
cool….. hellacool territory- mos def

I like 97 and 92. I do not like ones with very exaggerated female forms which remind me of mudflaps (100, 65).

# 47 is now #114…… and that is still hellacool…. why …. ’cause it reminds me
of what you would look like on the beach in Negril, Jamaica…..

I love #106 the best because of the typeface, colors of the image and type, and the partial profile of the face. The face is very seductive, kind of peek-a-boo. The words spelled out in a row gives it a relaxed feeling. It also appears to be more of a header.
I also like #109 for the same reasons but the stacking of the words conveys elation. I would like to see the same application of colors as in #106 with ‘brown’ colored brown and the other two words in pink. This image also may force you to redesign the website because it appears to be more of a logo than a header.

My absolute faves are #105/106 by Mariana! The typeface just screams YOU and the image colors and the silhouette are perfectly balanced. And I love the little heart above you, too. My fave, for sure. :-)

#105 and 106 are the best, but all of the designs by “marianaa” are good. Nice font and colors, love the heart-shaped speech bubble. The figure is less cartoony than most of the others, sexy without looking slutty, and she even captured that beautiful curly hair of yours.

Hmmm …. I think I see a clear front-runner among the FBC crowd. Gonna tally up the Twitter and Facebook votes, get a bit of input from a couple of friends and then narrow the finalists down to no more 5 designers by the end of the night.
