LUST
I woke up alone in my hotel bed with messy hair wildly arranged on my head and the word “lust” ink-stamped on my right forearm. I’m in Austin for SXSW. I checked in on Thursday after the connection from New York through St. Louis. I hate flying. Seriously, I love “travel” but I hate the “getting there” part. Long delays. Canceled flights. Shitty airport food. Cramped seats. Screaming babies. And, the constant fear that my plane is going to coming crashing to the ground and explode into teeny-tiny little pieces — leaving me to die alone with strangers. Errgh. It’s good to be settled on solid ground in Texas.

gee….. this is kinda deep…… am in the same vibe…. doing a gig in San Fran tonight….
been here since Friday….. am kinda left of center…. did the walk around upon arrival ….
checking the comfort zone radius of the moment….. did the sound check…. am waiting for
launch time….. hoping by some slim slice of whimsey ….. that I could have a NORMAL
meeting of the minds and not be on ….. or on point….. well …. that's when you roll your point
and by doing so….. disrupt the Force and have a wonderful time grabbing life and really
sharing points of view…… or … just going for some dinner….. grab the local paper….
channel your focus towards the very next moment ,where you ask yourself……
