Photos: I Can Prove I Wear Underwear
Because I forgot my BlackBerry at home yesterday and didn’t have access to my calendar, I totally forgot about the marlies|dekkers private lingerie event. A friend got me on the guest list and I was going to drop by before heading to a different friend’s party. Damn it! I guess there’s always next time. :( By the way, speaking of underwear and responding to Rachel’s comment from yesterday’s post …

Hear ye, hear ye. Let it be known that I, Twanna A. Hines, do occasionally wear underwear. I have proof. Ages ago, back when my family, coworkers, church members and others didn’t know about this site, I used to regularly pose and snap pictures of myself in my underwear. See “Green Bra” Exhibit #1 and Exhibit #2 as well as “Matching Green Lacy Panty” Exhibit B. Seeeee? I do wear panties!!! Just not often. ;)
By the way, for the record, I always feel really happy, pretty and sexy when I wear matching bra and panties. (Pssst!! Victoria’s Secret is having 40% sale!) For that reason, I’m considering reigniting my passion for posting pictures of myself in my underwear. It was a lot easier to do when I wasn’t: (a) “out” with my name and face on the internet and (b) lugging around an extra 10 pounds of winter weight. Hmmm, not sure I feel confortable enough to do panty shots yet. Give me a couple additional weeks running in the park …

Now Twanna, I'm sure you look fine just how you are right now. What's up with this winter weight thing you keep bringing up. We love you for who you are, a great writer who tells it like it is. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm a heavy A. I could probably stand to wear a B, but I'd rather spill out of my A than swim around in a B. So, yeah, for now, I'm an A. Though, with my slowly-shedding winter weight, I'm MUCH more in the B range than the A. :)

Splendid photos, Twanna! But if you're wearing the correct size bra in a brand and model that suits your shape your bra should be neither too tight nor should you swim in it. Wearing a bra that is too tight can inhibit the your breasts' lymphatic flow, and that in turn can increase your risk for breast cancer. If you haven't done so already go to one of the brassier shops on Orchard Street on the Lower East Side or to the lingerie shop on Madison around 90th and get a proper fitting with brand and model recommendations.

Aww, baby thanks for looking out for my boobies. :) And, yes, you're right about the circulation stuff / health risks of wearing a bra that's too small.
I had a bra fitting at a soho boutique a couple years back and they said I was a B. I kind of laughed it off like, “Um, LOOOK at this mosquito bites. I'm hardly a B.” But, who knows. They might be on to something. Hmmm … if I do another fitting, I'll live blog it and/or take pictures.

Haha mosquito bites, please those are not mosquito bites and I love how you take your pics. I should take notes from you cause I take the most unimaginative pics, I mean I don't show all the skin but I don't take them as sexy as you managed to take them. You gotta leave some room for the imagination!
I should do a proper fitting as well, I think the lady at VS was rushing me out and didn't handle my boob measuring too serious.
