Baba Doodlius: Toronto’s winters sound like Chicago’s winters :) I’ve only ever been in Toronto during the summer. Loved it! Not sure I’d travel there during the winter.

I actually met a New York 9 at a hot dog stand about three years ago. The vendor was having a problem with the hot dog buns, so we were just standing around waiting – making small talk. I made some really ridiculous joke about settling for “her buns” if this guy can’t get it together. I never say stuff like that – totally out of character. Anyway, I said it, and she gave me a weird crooked smile, and asked my name. Long story short, we exchanged info, and went out a few times. It was a great learning experience for me to not be afraid, and to just be myself. I’ve come to understand that “not caring” is half the battle when chatting-up a woman. My batting average still isn’t all that great, but now I’m less afraid to swing at the plate. You never know! I usually don’t get lucky, so on the rare occasion I do, you best believe I take note.
