Would You Like to Be Friends With Benefits?

I just created a FUNKY BROWN CHICK® Facebook page because I had 376 outstanding friend requests on my personal account. I approved a bunch, then I thought: “This isn’t helping my attempt to escape information overload.” If you’d like to link up, click Facebook in the new menu bar above. The benefits? Over there, I’ll ask you for ideas for upcoming posts, share articles about sex & relationships, and link other you-heard-it-first stuff before it shows up here. Now, on with the show …

If you read my sexual frustration post (See: “Of Course We Will Have Sex. Why Would We Not?”), you know how things turned out with the French dude. Several of you wanted more juice. So, here are a few of posts I’ve written about people I’ve slept with. Longtime readers may have seen these before. New folks, welcome to the Funky Brown:

And Then There Were Three
Ahem, my first threesome.

How To Have Casual Sex
Cute video from our lovely friends at Current TV.

Single Women’s Affairs: Sleeping With Married Men
This was an unexpectedly hotly debated post. I simply said, “If PERSON A and is married to PERSON B and cheating with PERSON C, it’s no one’s business except A, B, C and others directly related to the affair.” Many people said that was sensible. One person called me a skank. (I wrote them a letter.)

How Should You Introduce An Ex
What do you call a dude you used to sleep with, then broke up with — but still kept sleeping with?

How to Date Hot Men
Speaking of exes, I wrote about a couple exes in How to Date Hot Men. Because the post is four years old, I have proof I’ve grown. On Flickr, I regularly post pictures like this one of my bed head and makeupless face (demonstrating brown boobs don’t match “flesh colored” bras — instead, I buy brown/chocolate or other shades). I’m no longer searching for a hot guy, I just want a good one.

alicia / stacy: Yes, I have sex.  No, I don’t always write about it. (Sometimes, like today, I do roundup posts that highlight past stuff for those who might’ve missed.) I reserve some privacy for myself as well as respect that of my partners. About therapy, I quit seeing the old one and I haven’t found a new one yet. I highly suggests EVERYONE give therapy a shot at one time or another. It’s like yoga for the mind. Very freeing. I love it. By the way, in case you were wondering why I removed your comment, I’ll restate the comment policy: Be kind. If you can’t do that, you’re more than welcome to go elsewhere.  :)

I hadn’t read the threesome story yet.  For some reason I expected it would involve two men and you, since I got the impression that you were straight rather than bi.

Yep, I’m straight. In other words, a “dick chick” :)

In fantasies, I have threesomes with two guys, but it has yet to materialize. For now, I’ve only had two threesomes — both with the same female friend and, each time, with a different guy.

I’m bi, but I have to say I like 3somes with 2 men  better than ones with 1 women & 1 man (haven’t tried 2 women).  Maybe I just like being the center of attention (since in both cases the men were straight–I wonder how I would have liked it if they were bi)…  But, also, the ones involving another woman just seemed to end up with a lot of drama, a few days later.
So, I wish you luck with getting to try the 2 men variation :)
