And, earlier today, one of my Twitter followers — Roland Hulme of MilitantGinger.com — was kind enough to give me great health tips about my low levels of Vitamin D. So, today’s Manly Monday topic: Ginger Guys.
Redheads come in all shapes, sizes and hues. There’s even a sassy cocktail called the “firecrotch.” Though the recipe varies by bartender, ingredients are typically equal portions of Malibu rum, mango juice and cranberry juice. Mix and top off with a splash of soda and fresh lime juice. iDrink has a version with crushed ice, mint leaves and Absinthe. Try it. But, enough about firecrotch cocktails and back to sexy ginger men.
I like ‘em. Whether faux or natural, strawberry blond or brilliant orange, there’s something kind of sexy about guys with red hair. Rewind to the 90s. Teck Money from Real World Hawaii (the one with Ruthie) had bottled blondish-reddish hair. Remember Eric Stoltz? He was arguably the sexiest and most famous 80s redhead. I’m blanking on current celebrity ginger guys. Question: Are redhead men sexier than other dudes because they have a special X factor? And, who’s your favorite redhead celebrity (male or female)?

Eric Stoltz. Have you seen CAPRICA? This guy is aging incredibly well, and I think it’s all real. He’s hotter than he was in Pulp Fiction, when he had ridiculous long hair and a beard.

Hmm, Kevin McKidd seems to be the big winner today. Not sure why, but there’s something about him that I can’t quite put my finger on. I’m like, it’s Daniel Craig. Wait. No, it’s not. Kevin Spacey changed his hair color? Wait, no, that’s not it either. He’s like that guy who reminds you of someone else.
Prince Harry’s a rascal who’s always getting into trouble. A square-jawed athlete, a military man in sexy uniform AND a womanizing drunk who’s always flipping the bird at propriety? What a dreamboat!
When Harry was younger, I thought: “Poor kid! His brother got all the good lucks.” Now, it’s as if it switched the other way around.
I think he often comes across as spoiled, entitled and immature in a lot of ways. Though, it remains to be seen if that’s “growing up in the public eye” or if that’s just the way he’s going to be.
OMG! Kevin McKidd!! I’ve always had a thing for redheads, even in the 3rd grade there was this kid in my class. We had something going for awhile….as much as you can have going in the 3rd grade! But my husband has dark brown hair, go figure.
Hilarious! When you wrote, “We had something going for a while” I was like, IN THIRD GRADE?!?! What did you guys do? Make out on the playground??? That’s kind of cute.
LOL! I don’t know, he would just flirt with me a lot. I remember he ran up to me in class one day and whispered “love ya babe”.He probably heard his older brothers saying it to girls or something. Also the hitting each other because we liked each other thing. Ironically that’s the most I’ve been flirted with in my life before I met my husband lol.
Oh, I didn’t answer the question! Yes, redheads are sexy and i’m not sure why. To me they seem more innocent and cute. Like a little kid but Kevin McKidd has that rugged thing along with it.
I think I’m missing the McKidd boat. He’s cute, but there’s something about him that reminds me of Daniel Craig. Are we sure they aren’t related?
He does look a lot like Daniel Craig, maybe they are related. Love Daniel Craig too, I watch the James Bond movie just for him. I haven’t watched a movie just because I guy was in it for years and years.
I’m not really qualified to answer questions about sexy redhead guys. I care not for sexy guys.

Conan is amazing. Didn’t watch his show before, but I thought he handled the Leno with such class that I became an instant fan.

Seth Green rocks, but he’s not truly a ginger is he? I though his hair was kind of brown. But, then again, I always get him mixed up with Jamie Kennedy.
Of course we are sexier, we have the red hair. What more do you need to know?

Glad to see I’m not the only one with ginger on the brain lately. After catching Terminator Salvation on cable, I think Sam Worthington gets my vote for sexy ginger in addition to all the names mentioned earlier.
I’m a fan of my own red hair, only thing bothering me is how my beard is going gray, but when I let my hair grow, my hair is wavy and curly especially here in humid Georgia.

My sister got crazy over Eric Stoltz because of his unassuming look. I didn’t like him, in fact I got weird vibes because he reminded me of this guy I met online who was very rude and I was totally disappointed why I hooked up with him in the first place.
I used to like Prince William over Harry but now, it seems that Prince Harry’s getting sexier! Lovin’ the bad boy image there :)
