As lovely as undies are, people often do bad things while wearing them. A 62-year-old grandma “was arrested for hiding cocaine in her bra during a drug raid in Oakland Park.” (CBS News) “A former prostitute has been jailed for three years for drug dealing after she was found with cash hidden in her bra.” (BBC News) Underwear model behaving badly, Kelly Fisher, alleged cheated with Dodi Fayed. Chiding him during a phone call, she exclaimed, “You even flew me down to St Tropez to sit on a boat while you seduced Diana all day and f— me all night,” reports the Daily News; the other woman “Diana,” of course, was Princess Diana (New York Daily News)

The Bud Light “Real Men of Genius” campaign by Anheuser-Busch a radio advertisement saluting “Mr. Edible Underwear Maker”. YouTube user “AtlantasChronicles” set the commercial to video images:

Wikipedia’s entry details the history of the advertisements.

“Real Men of Genius is a popular long-running humorous series of one-minute-long American radio advertisements for Bud Light beer created by copywriter Bob Winter. Each sixty-second ad pays mock tribute to an “unsung hero”. The series began in 1999 and was originally called Real American Heroes. The name was changed after the 9/11 attacks, as Anheuser-Busch felt that they could not continue to use the term “hero” in that context after so many people had performed genuine acts of heroism. People were complaining that the commercials were presenting American Heroes as these Misters. As of 2006, over 100 installments in the series have been produced. Winter’s campaign has since become the most award-winning radio campaign in the history of advertising. Television versions have also been produced of some of these spots beginning in 2003. The first two TV versions were “Mr. Footlong Hot Dog Inventor” and “Mr. Really Bad Toupee Wearer”.”
